이번 등록으로 공공기관과 지방자치단체는 복잡한 입찰 절차 없이 약 30% 할인된 가격으로 윈도우 서버 2025 제품군을 손쉽게 도입할 수 있게 됐다.

조달청 디지털서비스몰은 클라우드, 상용 소프트웨어(SW), 공개SW 등 다양한 IT 상품을 공공기관이 편리하게 구매할 수 있도록 마련된 플랫폼이다.

이번 등록에는 윈도우 서버 2025 스탠다드(Standard) 및 데이터(Datacenter) 에디션과 CAL(Client Access License) 상품이 포함되며, GS(굿소프트웨어) 인증 등 공공시장 도입에 필요한 주요 인증도 모두 완료됐다.

윈도우 서버 2025는 지난해 11월, 4년 만에 출시된 서버 OS로 ▲고급 보안 기능 ▲성능 개선 ▲가상화 및 컨테이너 지원 ▲클라우드 연동 등 최신 인프라 요구에 최적화된 기능을 제공한다. 또한 더 빠른 스토리지 옵션과 하이브리드 클라우드 환경 통합 기능을 통해 인프라 관리가 간소화됐다.

South Korea’s SPK Lists Microsoft Windows Server 2025 on Public Procurement Platform

SEOUL, South Korea (Techsuda) — SPK, a public-sector software procurement company, said Friday it has registered Microsoft’s Windows Server 2025 on the Public Procurement Service’s Digital Service Mall.

The move allows government agencies and local municipalities to buy the new server operating system at about a 30% discount without going through complex bidding procedures.

The Digital Service Mall provides public institutions with access to cloud services, commercial software and open-source tools.

Products listed include the Standard and Datacenter editions of Windows Server 2025 and Client Access Licenses. SPK said the software has obtained the certifications required for the public market, including the Good Software (GS) certification.

Windows Server 2025, released in November after four years of development, offers upgraded security, better performance, virtualization and container support, and cloud integration. It also adds faster storage options and hybrid cloud features designed to simplify infrastructure management.

SPK CEO Lee Seung-geun said the registration will make it easier for public agencies to adopt the system. He said the company plans to provide regular updates and technical support.

SPK renewed its public procurement partnership with Microsoft Korea in May 2024 and holds exclusive supply rights for Microsoft’s public-sector procurement business. The company is also preparing to register Microsoft’s SQL Server platform on the Digital Service Mall next year.
